Included among the 36th Biennial Clergy Laity Congress workshops, these are part of an on-going series of symposia for the Preservation of Our History, Past, Present, and Future.
The methodical documentation and preservation of our community history in this country is long overdue. We are losing untold volumes of written and material resources on a daily basis. While other ethnic groups are trying to discover their roots, our own rich heritage is being diminished and even distorted. To ignore the loss of these resources is to rob future generations of their due legacy.
We will address these issues, among others:
Take this opportunity to discuss the importance and necessity of cultural preservation. Take this opportunity to learn how to identify, collect, organize, and preserve historical records, and to conduct oral history interviews.
For direct information, send us a message from the PAHH contact page.
